We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Secaucus, New Jersey. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills while contributing to essential financial processes. Responsibilities:
• Process branch check usage postings and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Handle air export billing and freight processing, including corrections and invoice postings.
• Manage monthly statement preparation for air export and import settlements.
• Coordinate accounting balance schedules and share updates with branches.
• Assist with year-end accounting tasks and communicate with branches regarding financial matters.
• Process organizational documents and maintain compliance with company standards.
• Perform reconciliations for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Support the team with accounting entries and bank reconciliations.• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting is preferred.
• Proficiency in handling accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Strong skills in account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
• Ability to accurately process accounting entries.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in document processing and financial reporting is a plus.
