Join our dynamic team at our luxurious resort as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a welcoming environment and support the overall operations of our housekeeping department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations
- Supervise and coordinate staff responsible for cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and linen closets
- Ensure all public areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet the resort’s quality standards
- Manage linen inventory, including linen closets, and ensure proper storage and replenishment
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health standards
- Train, motivate, and support housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service
- Handle guest requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing workload distribution
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and inventory
Requirements:- Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles, preferably in a resort or hotel setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and equipment
- Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and tact
