Responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with customer transfers, lot merchandising, securing vehicles, and assisting Merchandising team with additional daily functions. Duties include performing quality and timely imaging of Retail and Wholesale vehicles for CarMax websites, completing vehicle secures including reading and verifying appraisal entry information for discrepancies, completing vehicle walkarounds, transfers and confirmations with accurate and timely communication, assisting Merchandising Department in accurately optioning CarMax inventory, partnering with Inventory and Sales Departments with lot staging as needed, assisting Merchandising Department with projects and office duties, completing assigned tasks independently and following up after completion, and providing CarMax Auctions support including imaging, staging, scanning, and auction day support as needed. The role requires delivering exceptional customer service, reading, interpreting and transcribing data to maintain accurate records, multitasking in a high energy, fast-paced environment, effective communication with internal and external customers, functioning effectively within a team-oriented environment, successful completion of all required training, and possession of a valid driver’s license. Working conditions include walking, bending, or standing for extended periods, ability to work outdoors or in inclement weather for several hours, flexible work hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, adherence to CarMax policies including attendance, proper recording of time, asset protection, environmental health and safety, and standards of professional appearance. The position primarily involves working outdoors and may include noisy and/or inclement weather conditions.
