Job Title: Carpet Cleaner
Location: Fort Wainwright – Fairbanks, AK

Pay: $19/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
TDL Staffing is currently hiring a Carpet Cleaner to support a large residential community on Fort Wainwright. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with carpet cleaning or general janitorial experience who take pride in delivering quality results and keeping facilities clean and well-maintained.
You’ll work both independently and as part of a team to ensure homes, offices, and community areas meet high standards of cleanliness. The position involves active, physical work and requires a strong attention to detail and time management.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform carpet cleaning in homes, community offices, and common areas according to schedule
Ensure timely and efficient completion of work to support vacancy reduction goals
Carry and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment as needed for daily tasks
Submit required paperwork and work order updates accurately and on time using mobile devices
Maintain cleanliness in shared spaces including offices, community centers, and outdoor areas (trash pickup, dog waste stations, etc.)
Respond to occasional after-hours or urgent cleaning requests as needed
Maintain a clean, stocked work vehicle
Follow standard procedures with minimal supervision while identifying basic process improvements
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of carpet cleaning or related experience
Ability to complete and pass equipment training within 45 days, if not already trained
Basic computer literacy for work order entry
Current driver’s license with a clean driving record
REAL ID–compliant driver’s license or ID is required for access to Fort Wainwright
Drug screening is part of the hiring process

Reliable team player who adapts to changing tasks or priorities
Ability to safely handle and maneuver bulky cleaning equipment
