Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides treatment and manual techniques under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The COTA is expected to manage a full caseload and complete all documentation required for patient care.

What You’ll Need: 

• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Associate degree required 

• Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in appropriate state (NY, NJ, PA)

• Excellent oral, written communication 

• Maintains positive, professional behavior at all times 

What You’ll Do: 

• Provides OT interventions that are safe, effective, and in compliance with JAG-ONE guidelines 

• Communicates daily/weekly with supervising OT 

• Manages and delegates to support staff as needed for patient care 

• Completes documentation of notes in WebPT EMR in timely manner as per JAG-ONE guidelines 

• Maintains state regulated CEU requirements for COTA license 

• Attends annual JAG-ONE Billing/Coding seminar 

• Assists with cleanliness and organization of facility 

• Educates the surrounding community through lectures/presentations  

• Demonstrates respectful intervention with patients, colleagues, and others 

• Other duties as assigned
