The United States Capitol Police (USCP) safeguards the Congress, Members of Congress, employees, visitors, and Congressional buildings and grounds from crime, disruption, and terrorism. We protect and secure Congress so it can fulfill its constitutional and legislative responsibilities in a safe, secure, and open environment.

Requirements

• You must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Successful completion of a Background Investigation is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• All applicants must meet the Mandatory Executive Core Qualification and Professional Technical requirements listed to be eligible for further consideration.
• Eligibility will be based on a clear showing that the applicant's training and experience is of the scope, quality, and level of responsibility sufficient to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this executive position.
• This position is subject to the submission of a yearly Financial Disclosure Statement.
