Overview Contract position for a Cisco Collaboration Engineer to join a leading company in the San Diego, CA surrounding area. Pay rate: $45 - $70. US Citizenship is required. Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance. Provide technical expertise in the implementation and support of Cisco Collaboration solutions, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection (CUC), Cisco Emergency Responder (CER), and Cisco Contact Center Express (UCCX). The project involves replacing an aging Avaya G3SI PBX with a Cisco Collaboration Solution across the Main Treatment Facility (MTF) and eleven remote sites. The MTF will have approximately 5,000 new VoIP phones and 500 analog devices; remote sites will have approximately 1,800 new VoIP phones and 314 analog devices. The candidate will be responsible for migrating from the old PBX to the new Cisco Voice Solution and providing ongoing support. Responsibilities Deployment & Implementation. Assist the Senior Implementation Engineer on the rollout of Cisco Collaboration solutions. Assist the Senior Implementation Engineer in configuring call routing, dial plans, voice gateways, and SIP trunks. Basic Hiring Criteria Active Secret clearance.
