The First Bank and Trust Company of Virginia is expanding our footprint in Eastern North Carolina, and we are looking for a Commercial Loan Officer who thrives on producing new business and building lasting relationships.

If you’re a natural connector with deep market relationships and the drive and leadership to bring in and manage profitable commercial relationships then we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities :

• Proactively source, development, and maintain commercial banking relationships in North Carolina.
• Assists with implementing the bank’s business plan and keeping management informed of internal resources, market conditions, and competitive pressures.
• Identify lending opportunities, structure competitive loan packages, and guide borrowers through the application process.
• Manage and grow your loan portfolio with a focus on retention and cross-selling.
• Partner with credit, deposit and operation co-workers to deliver smooth, efficient service to clients.
• Identify and explore business development opportunities within the community.
• Represent the bank in the community to develop business and promote The First Bank and Trust of Virginia products and services.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in commercial lending production.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis and commercial loan structuring.
• Established business and referral network in Eastern North Carolina.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with the discipline to drive results.
