Position: Delivery Driver

Job Description:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering medical equipment and medical products to hospitals, medical clinics and homes throughout Miami-Dade.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Transport and deliver products to customer locations in a safe and timely manner
• Inspect delivery vehicle for mechanical items, safety issues and lack of proper maintenance. Report any equipment, vehicle or traffic violations to the appropriate management.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Work with the Manager to ensure that orders are completed on time and to company standards.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspection of vehicle.
• Maintain communication with colleagues in the warehouse and maintain an organized delivery route.
• Assist in inventory management in the warehouse.
• Keep current on all applicable rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. A valid Miami, FL driver's license is required. A clean driving record is required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English. Ability to write straight forward text. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
• Previous experience in delivery, driving a truck a plus but not required.
• Strong verbal communication skills with a customer service focus.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
