Overview Join Lemieux & Associates as a Des Moines, IA SIU Investigator. This part‑time position can grow into a full‑time role for the right candidate. Requirements You must be licensed by the State of Iowa as a Private Investigator, reside in the Des Moines area, and have complex SIU/Claims investigation experience. Responsibilities Provide detailed accurate reports Obtain written and recorded statements Perform scene investigations Investigate property theft, vehicle theft, garaging issues and permissible use claims Accurately photograph evidence (accident scenes, vehicle damage, etc.) Skills & Experience Experience conducting complex SIU/Claims cases Notary preferred Surveillance experience preferred but not required Bi‑lingual is a plus Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred Willingness to travel as necessary Flexible to work varied/irregular hours and days Strong computer and internet skills Valid state‑issued driver’s license Reliable vehicle, digital camera, computer with Windows OS, Microsoft Word, internet connection Time‑management to deliver on‑time work products Competitive starting pay Travel time compensation Report writing compensation Benefits Full‑time positions include Medical, Dental, 401(k), Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays.
