Position Summary

The Director, Business Analytics will lead analytics strategy for a key Ardelyx product, driving strategic insight generation and performance enabling across core performance, digital/omnichannel, and advanced analytics. The role partners with IT for data strategy and governance, stages large datasets, develops dynamic dashboards, and translates insights into actionable recommendations. The incumbent collaborates with Commercial Market Access, Sales and Marketing teams in a highly crossfunctional environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and define the analytics strategy and plan for a key Ardelyx product, including defining required analytics initiatives and embedding these capabilities into business processes.
• Design customer engagement strategies and optimize performance, measuring business impact of engagements.
• Serve as primary field contact for adhoc analytics queries related to sales performance, incentive compensation, and reporting.
• Partner with commercial stakeholders to define performance metrics, automate information flow, and continuously enhance reports.
• Create intuitive, interactive data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
• Coordinate with IT and external data warehouse vendor to stage data tables cohesively and ensure adherence to business rules.
• Gather and define business requirements for reporting, test new functionality, and ensure data quality.
• Work with legal and compliance to ensure all regulations and policies are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 912 years of experience in life science data analytics, data warehousing, or database management.
• Direct experience with life sciences data sets (IQVIA, Symphony, claims).
• Proficiency with BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI), MS Office, and cloud platforms (Snowflake).
• Strong analytical, problemsolving, and detail orientation.
• Ability to present complex data clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Experience building automated processes and working independently in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication; comfortable presenting to executive leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual base pay $205,000$251,000, plus potential annual bonus and equity awards.
