Playful Pups Retreat is seeking a detail-oriented manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy Daycare & Training facility. For 15+ years, Playful Pups Retreat has delivered exceptional, enrichment-based care to dogs across Central PA. We offer daycare, training, overnight lodging, and bathing services-all tailored to each dog's needs. As our Daycare & Training Center Manager, you'll partner with our leadership team to ensure smooth, high-quality daily operations . This hands-on role requires strong communication, critical thinking, and team development skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daycare, training, and bathing services

• Lead a multi-department team with professionalism and accountability

• Ensure safety, service, and operational consistency

• Handle scheduling, payroll oversight, and team performance

• Support hiring, training, and team development

• Maintain excellent client communication and service

• Collaborate on promotions, dog activities, and community events

• Manage elevated client concerns and onsite emergencies

• 2+ years in leadership (animal care, hospitality, or service industries)

• Strong team leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills

• Confident decision-maker in fast-paced, client-facing environments

• Passionate about pets and committed to quality care

• Tech-savvy: Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and cloud systems

• Full-time availability, including evenings and some weekends
