We are looking for your help! We at Sygnetics Healthcare, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned firm, are searching for strong Healthcare providers who share our passion to support our nation s veterans.

We have an immediate need for three (3) locum Emergency Room Physicians to provide emergency medicine care for our veteran population at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Cetner located in Clarksburg, WV. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on veterans lives while experiencing the unique beauty of the Mid Appalachians.

These are 1-year Locum positions slated via two continuous 6-month contracts.

Physicians shall be responsible for providing care in the Emergency Department, including, but not limited to:

• Evaluation, Emergent Treatment and Management
• Major procedures such as central venous line placement, arterial catheter placement, emergency chest tube or needle thoracostomy to relieve tension pneumothorax, peritoneal lavage, defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion, additional procedures available upon request
• Stabilization and transfer
• Inpatient Admissions
• Consultation and Referral Responsibilities
• Medications
• Discharge education
• Communication of Test Results

Must have completed a residency and be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.

Credentialling and onboarding takes approximately 4-6 weeks.

Hours & Schedule:

• ER is open 24 x 7 x 365
• Schedule : Normal business hours for the Emergency Department are based on emergency department needs and may be adjusted by the emergency department leadership. Current shift hours are: 7:00am to 7:00pm, 8:00am to 8:00pm, 9:00am to 9:00pm, 10am to 10pm, 12:00pm to 8:00pm OR 7pm to 7:00am Wednesday through Tuesday

• Current CV without any gaps over 30 days since completion of medical school- written explanations are accepted

• One active, unrestricted State License in any state
• Current DEA
• BLS- American Heart Association (AHA) required
• 3 Current References
