YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE

The Junior Financial Analyst supports the finance team by performing financial analysis, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes.

IMPACT OUR BUSINESS BY

• Gather financial data from various sources such as financial statements, market reports, and industry trends.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

• Assist in preparing financial models and forecasts based on collected data.

• Prepare and present financial reports, charts, and graphs to senior analysts and management.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial reports and analysis.

• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.

• Analyze budget variances and work with departments to ensure budget adherence.

• Support the preparation of cash flow forecasts and financial projections.

• Support the finance team in strategic financial planning and decision-making processes.

• Assist in the evaluation of new projects, investments, and business opportunities.

• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as required by management.

• Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.

• Assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records.

• Work closely with other departments to gather necessary financial information.

• Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Your Knowledge

• Must have a BBA in accounting or finance.

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a related area.

• Ability to provide financial projections.

• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Familiarity with financial accounting statements.

• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.

• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages like QuickBooks.

• Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables.

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent knowledge of analytics tools and evaluation metrics.

• Excellent communication skills, including writing in both English and Spanish.

• Excellent interpersonal relations skills

• Ability to prioritize all the different tasks in the backlog according to the needs of the organization.
