Library Assistant I - Limited Part Time Woodstock Public Library
The City of Woodstock is pleased to be recruiting for a limited part-time Library Assistant I position with the Woodstock Public Library. This position is NOT A SEASONAL POSITION . This is a year-round position.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting patrons with information, directions and circulation services, and maintain circulation records. Additional responsibilities include shelving and retrieving materials from the shelves or unpacking materials delivered from other libraries; Daily bending/twisting and reaching (up, down, and across); Knowledge of computer software including word processing and troubleshooting operating malfunctions for computer workstations, printers and photocopiers. The work is performed under the supervision of the Circulation Manager and Assistant Circulation Manager.

Wednesday: 9:00am - 5:00pm Thursday: 12:00pm - 8:00pm Saturday - Every Other: 9:00am - 5:00pm Sunday: 1:00pm - 5:00pm (averages 1 time per month)

Salary & Benefits:
The starting pay rate for this limited part-time, non-exempt/hourly position is $18.62. The position will work no more than 20 hours per week on average. There are no additional benefits with the exception of Accrued Sick Leave - earn 1 hour for every 40 hours worked on a prorated basis.
