Job Description

Our client, a leader in the Industrial sector, is seeking a Machine Operator - 3rd shift to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting the Electrode Finishing department. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator - 3rd shift

Location: Hanover, PA

Pay Range: $27.59 to $28.45

What's the Job?

• Package containers of electrodes and prepare proper marking stamps or labels on all containers and covers.
• Inspect, weigh, and pack electrodes while ensuring the use of protective packaging.
• Set up and operate the Quad Pak machine, making adjustments as necessary to meet production and quality standards.
• Perform quality checks on electrodes and communicate with coworkers regarding size, heat, or type changes.
• Maintain a clean work area and keep equipment in good condition while following established safety and environmental policies.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to work from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift and transport materials as needed.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
