Summary
Are you a Mechanical Engineering Major interested in the HVAC Industry?
Havtech is looking for Summer Interns!
Havtech is the Mid-Atlantic’s largest and most experienced commercial HVAC equipment, building automation, service, and energy solutions provider. Havtech represents 50+ manufacturers in HVAC Equipment and Building Automation for both commercial and industrial markets.
WHAT WILL YOUR INTERNSHIP CONSIST OF?
Gaining experience from a network of skilled Applications Engineers in Equipment Estimating, Sales, and/or Air Distribution; developing knowledge of represented manufacturers and Havtech’s competitive advantage.
Analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals; introduction to relevant systems, industry standards, and the submittal process for bids.
Providing technical support for our sales teams and customers while gaining valuable experience choosing product selections and creating proposals and pricing summaries.
Collaborating with the Estimating Operations Leader and Estimating on projects to coordinate activities.
QUALIFICATIONS Include The Following
Bachelor’s degree currently in progress in Mechanical Engineering or other related areas.
Interest in the HVAC industry and a potential HVAC-related career track.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Web-enabled applications.
Ready to learn and volunteer to assist others.
Demonstrate collaborative and respectful behavior in a team environment.
Excellent math aptitude.
Possess time management skills and the ability to follow up.
Junior and senior level students are strongly preferred, but a class level is not required.
