Soliant isseeking a dedicated and student-focused School Social Worker to join our team for the 20252026 school year in Chicago, IL . This is a full-time role supporting students academic, emotional, and behavioral well-being through evidence-based interventions, family engagement, and collaborative school-based support.
As a key member of the student services team, the School Social Worker will work directly with students, educators, and families to address barriers to learning, enhance school climate, and promote mental health and social-emotional success.
Provide direct counseling services to students (individual and group)
Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to develop and implement student support plans
Assist in crisis intervention and connect families with appropriate community resources
Participate in special education processes, including evaluations and IEP meetings
Support student attendance initiatives and behavioral intervention strategies
Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with district and legal standards
Promote equity and culturally responsive practices throughout all interactions and programming
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker Endorsement
Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed practices and school-based mental health
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Experience in urban education or working with diverse student populations preferred
Competitive Weekly Pay: $40 $52 per hour (based on experience)
