About the Role

JDE E1 experience is required

Working under minimal supervision of the Sr. Manager, ERP Development, referring only exceptional problems and issues for management review or approval, the JDE E1 Developer works with the Development, Integration, and CNC teams to liaison with Business System Analysts (BSA) and other business partners to deliver and maintain quality J.D. Edwards (JDE) E1 developed solutions. The JDE E1 Developer analyzes, designs, develops, customizes and implements ERP and related applications solutions. Primary responsibilities include the development of JDE E1 code to satisfy business process requirements, business reporting and the support of integrations with E1 such as Web, EDI, 3rd Party applications, and other legacy applications. Provides troubleshooting and resolution of user issues in L2/L3 Help desk support tickets, specifically with application support of L3 tickets as assigned. Develops and/or reviews technical specifications and conducts Unit testing on developed objects.

Responsibilities

• Develops JDE E1 code with understanding of E1 interoperability, Z Tables, E1 table structure, Power Forms, NERs, BSFN’s and ADF Framework
• Develops JDE E1 coded objects to build and unit test customized solutions in E1
• Develops E1 code to satisfy ERP back-end integrations for 3rd party and legacy applications
• Provides troubleshooting and resolution of user issues in L2/L3 Help desk support tickets.
• Works with Development team to coordinate development across multiple E1 programs as well as Integration with 3rd party and legacy systems that align Token management and Sev 1/Sev 2 prioritization.
• Acquires working knowledge of Connection TFS QA tool for tracking development and deployment
• Leads developers and/or BSA team members in defining requirements and conducting systems analysis for the development of technical spec documentation
• Provides expertise to support the Development and BSA teams in designing system solutions
• Conducts baselining and estimation of development efforts for E1 code requests
• Develops and executes unit test scripts for coded solutions to enable code deployment
• Troubleshoots coded solutions through methodical testing techniques
• Supports the QA testing team in troubleshooting coded solutions
• Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of JDE E1 Development Tool, C BSFN’s, NER’s, Interoperability, Z Tables, JDE EDI, Power Forms, BSSV’s and ADF Framework .
• Proficient knowledge of JDE E1 9.x, JDE EDI
• Proficient knowledge and experience working with OMW, OVR, BI Publisher and Batch Scheduling tools
• Experience and knowledge of JDE E1 business process functionality in at least one key area (Finance, Development, SOM, or Manufacturing)
• Proficiency in JDE E1 9.x data table structure.
• Working knowledge of gathering business needs and systems requirements with ability to create technical documentation.
• Adaptable with ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities
• Analytical with ability to draw conclusions from data and systematic analysis
• Articulate with ability to express oneself clearly and professionally in written and oral communication
• Detail oriented with item by item focus, meticulous attention to detail with ability to proofread for accuracy
• Interpersonal skills with ability to work well with all levels of the organization
• Judgment with ability to formulate opinions, compare and decide with good sense
• Ability to troubleshoot issues with a thoughtful, methodical approach
