Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of nine physicians at St. Luke’s Memorial.
• We are a diverse group of physicians from different cultures, backgrounds, and training programs. We are a wonderful group of people with camaraderie and a team culture. We are good at finding common ground and leaning on each other for support and knowledge.
• For those who like to teach, we work with medical students and have a small family medicine residency at the hospital affiliated with Baylor.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
• We proudly sponsor H1B and J1 Visa candidates, and Sound has excellent in-house visa specialists and our licensing and credentialing experts. All required filing fees for the visa are paid, and services are covered by Sound.
• New Grads are encouraged to apply

Flexible Scheduling:

• We work a traditional seven on/off schedule but cover for each other when we are out.

Key Responsibilities:

• We welcome the challenge of complex cases. We work in an open ICU with intensivist coverage during the day and on-call at night (our team is not expected to perform procedures, but we run codes).
• We usually meet monthly for team meetings and have daily huddles with the team.
