PLC/HMI Programmer

We are looking for a PLC/HMI Programmer to support our Primex brand. Our Primex brand is a leading provider of control solutions for the municipal and wastewater industries, offering pump control panels, full-featured web-hosted SCADA solutions, and highly complex system integration projects.

This role will work out of our Vacaville, CA location.

The job: As our PLC/HMI Programmer, your primary role will be creating integrated control systems by writing programs for PLC's and operator interfaces as required per customer plans and specifications. This work may also include configuration of Windows-based SCADA systems and networking to other devices. You will test and commission new systems as well as troubleshoot existing systems at customer facilities. You will work fully on-site and be expected to perform work in the field as needed.

The skills you need:

• Writing PLC code and developing HMI applications for Rockwell, Schneider, and other platforms and operator terminals
• Developing SCADA systems with AVEVA (Wonderware), Inductive Automation or other platforms
• Common industrial control devices such as VFD's, motor starters, and process instruments is also a plus

A 4-year degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree and 4-6 years of experience are required.

• What is the starting wage? The starting salary for this position is $80,000 - $90,000/year for Associate level or $93,000 - $107,000/year for Engineer/Programmer level depending on experience.
