  • Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to achieve excellent results for property owners and the organization.
  • Perform property onboarding tasks, including inspections and system updates, ensuring accurate property data management.
  • Oversee leasing activities, manage property listings, coordinate move-ins, and track vacancy reports to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain regular communication with property owners, manage maintenance activities, and review financial statements.
  • Monitor tenant delinquencies, address escalated tenant concerns, and ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction.
  • Approve invoice payments, oversee rent collection, and manage financial records with precision.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve work orders, oversee property upkeep, and negotiate preventive maintenance contracts.
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and turnover tasks, to ensure properties are rent-ready.
  • Lead assistant property managers and support staff, fostering strong relationships with owners and contributing to business metrics.
  • Participate in rotating on-call emergency duties, typically two weeks per quarter.

  • Must-Have Skills: Demonstrated coach-ability, multitasking abilities, and critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer service and negotiation capabilities.
  • Availability for after-hours and evening responsibilities as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

  • Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience in multi-family and single-family property management.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and property management systems.
  • Previous leadership experience in a property management setting.
  • Familiarity with Chicago-area housing regulations and tenant laws.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management and preventive maintenance planning.
