Job Description

A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a School Social Worker to support K-12 students in an educational setting located in Delhi, NY. This role involves working closely with students, families, and school staff to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges that may impact academic success and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement support plans.
• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and connect them with appropriate community resources.
• Facilitate group sessions and preventive programs aimed at promoting positive social skills and mental health.
• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all school and legal regulations related to student welfare.
