About the Role

This is a full-time Hybrid Senior Designer role based in the Bay Area. The Senior Designer will be responsible for creating and overseeing design projects, developing visual concepts, and ensuring the quality and consistency of the brands visual identity. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading design reviews, and providing feedback to junior designers. The role also involves staying updated with the latest design trends and technologies to ensure that the designs remain contemporary and competitive.

Responsibilities

• Translate product positioning, brand identity, and functional requirements into compelling and competitive industrial design solutions.
• Stay on top of emerging trends, design philosophies, and new tools in the design world; regularly generate and share insights through trend and inspiration reports.
• Research and identify innovative design opportunities globally, and transform them into forward-thinking, achievable concept solutions.
• Deliver detailed ID (Industrial Design) proposals for consumer electronics, including color, material, finish (CMF), and form exploration.
• Create and refine 3D models, ensuring both design intent and manufacturability; oversee hand model quality and physical prototyping outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to guide products from concept through to mass production.
• Contribute to the evolution of VITUREs design language by participating in R&D and innovation-focused projects across our smart hardware portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or above in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial design; experience in the consumer electronics sector is a strong plus.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Pro/E (or other 3D modeling software), and basic hand sketching.
• Strong skills in concept iteration, wireframing, and prototyping.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities; confident in contributing to or leading within a creative team environment.
• Design portfolio required (must demonstrate both conceptual thinking and technical execution).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the consumer electronics sector is a strong plus.
