Job Description

MoodysNWC is seeking an innovative and strategic Authentication Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our authentication solutions. The ideal candidate will oversee product lifecycle management, ensure secure and seamless user experiences, and align authentication strategies with overall business and security objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for authentication solutions, including login systems, multi-factor authentication, biometrics, and identity verification.
  • Collaborate with security, engineering, design, and UX teams to develop secure, scalable, and user-friendly authentication features.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and security requirements to inform product improvements and new feature development.
  • Prioritize product backlog based on business needs, risk mitigation, user experience, and technical feasibility.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, privacy regulations, and industry best practices related to identity and access management.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, adoption, and security metrics; iterate to optimize performance and user experience.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to integrate authentication seamlessly into existing systems and processes.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, emerging authentication technologies, and evolving security threats.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business, or related field; relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are a plus.
  • Proven experience managing authentication, identity management, or security-related products.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, authentication methods, and identity/access management frameworks.
  • Experience with product management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS related to user authentication.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary for this position ranges from $120,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to 160,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Other forms of compensation are offered in the form of medical, vision, and dental benefits.
