Forward Corporation is a fifth-generation family-owned and operated Michigan company that has been in business for almost 100 years. Forward Corp. also owns and operates Forward Energy, a home-heating business, and T.R. McTaggart, a custom screen print and embroidery business. Forward Corp. is headquartered in Standish, MI, and proudly employs 1,000 Michigan residents across the state.
The Assistant Manager will assist with the day-to-day operation of the store. Duties include, but are not limited to, supervising, training, and developing Sales Associates; ensuring prompt courteous customer service and satisfaction; cleaning; monitoring compliance with company policies and procedures; assisting the manager in merchandising; daily bookwork; and fostering a positive store culture by treating employees fair and with respect. The desired candidate will be dependable, self-motivated, people-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain total customer focus. Should be able to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts. Previous retail management is preferred.
