Job Description:  A leading law firm in Illinois is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to provide support to shareholders and directors. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position involves preparing legal documents, managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and assisting with various aspects of legal case management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and format legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, and discovery materials.
• File documents with the court electronically and physically, following state and federal filing procedures.
• Manage attorneys’ calendars, including scheduling meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
• Assist with billing, time entry, and tracking deadlines.
• Maintain case files, ensuring that all necessary documentation is organized and accessible.
• Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, court personnel, and other external parties.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a legal secretary in a law firm environment, preferably to upper-level individuals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Strong knowledge of Illinois legal procedures and court rules.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with e-filing systems in Illinois state and federal courts.
