Now Hiring: In-Home Caregiver – Wellesley, MA

We’re seeking a warm, reliable caregiver to assist a kind-hearted 84-year-old retired teacher and woodworking enthusiast who is legally blind. He thrives in a peaceful, respectful environment and values thoughtful companionship.

This is a fulfilling, low-stress role with consistent daytime hours in a calm home setting.

Schedule:

• Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM

• Tuesdays, Thursdays: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
  Pay: $18–$22/hour (based on experience and credentials)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene)

• Assist with safe mobility and transfers

• Prepare simple, nourishing meals and provide mealtime assistance

• Light housekeeping to ensure a clean, comfortable environment

• Offer gentle companionship and meaningful conversation

• Monitor client wellbeing and communicate changes promptly

• Encourage independence and cognitive engagement

• Uphold privacy, dignity, and infection control standards

Who You Are:

• Certified CNA, HHA or PCA in good standing

• At least 1 year of relevant experience

• High School Diploma or GED

• Reliable transportation (required)

• Experience with vision loss preferred

• Compassionate, attentive, and dedicated to client-centered care
