Join to apply for the LRCHC Medical Office Manager role at Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation Summary The Medical Office Manager for the Colville Tribal Healthcare Authority is the principal individual responsible for the efficient management of the medical office team at their assigned location. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring a smooth, positive and patient focused environment by working positively and supportively with all departments, providing timely, thorough, and accurate organizational information. The Medical Office Manager will perform their job duties in a professional manner while assuring that all the needs of the staff and patients are met – with a pleasant demeanor. Essential Functions Responsible for the success and supervision of the medical office team at assigned site Serves as a member of the clinical support team by assisting with tracking, monitoring, providing follow‑ups and coordinating care for patients Assists with the identification of “high risk” patients and includes them in the patient registry(s) Enter patient health data in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Responsible for oversight of patient demographics, insurance eligibility and verification related to patient accounts Increase continuity of care by managing relationships and providing referrals with other regional care providers Gather required information and provide administrative support to the Medical Director at the Quality Improvement (QI) meetings Provide education to medical office team, patients, families and caregivers about relevant community resources Assist with patient questions and/or complaints for resolution of concerns Maintain working relationships with tribal entities, county and community organizations, and Washington State health agencies to continually improve the provision of care for chronic disease patients Ensure that contract and grant compliance, as well as reporting requirements are met and in accordance with the conditions of the contract and/or grant Responsible for appropriate expenditures and compliance with allocated budget Prepare reports, presentations, and metrics related to the medical portion of healthcare authority for their assigned site Complies and ensures compliance with applicable legislation, funding and organizational requirements, policies and procedures Ensure confidential handling of sensitive team member information in line with data protection policies and laws Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities AA degree in Office Management or related field with a minimum of 5 (five) years of experience as office support in a health care environment is required. Other combinations of higher education and extended experience may substitute for the degree when it demonstrates the ability to fulfill the requirements of the position. One year supervisory experience. HIPAA and Privacy training and Basic Life Support Certificate within 90 days of employment Blood borne pathogen training annually Ability to understand, speak, communicate and read the English language Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to utilize RPMS and EHR proficiently Requires ability to utilize a multi‑line telephone with good telephone etiquette Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality Well‑developed human relation skills to convey technical concepts to others, to deal with sensitive and confidential information, to give instructions and training, and to facilitate training and discussions in individual and group settings Ability to communicate technical information and to interact with a wide variety of groups and individuals inside and outside the organization Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work processes in a high‑volume environment in order to meet deadlines and to comply with goals and objectives Ability to analyze data from multiple information ports by comparing and contrasting data to draw a conclusion or to identify trends Ability to communicate professionally in written, verbal, and non‑verbal format while portraying a friendly tone, word choice, and body language Valid Washington State Driver’s License is required and be insurable Physical Requirements Ability to sit for long periods of time Manual and finger dexterity to complete duties Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and reach Ability to push and pull frequentlyAbility to lift up to 20 (twenty) pounds periodically Ability to comprehend complex issues Sufficient visual acuity to write, recognize printed materials, computer screen, and notice non‑verbal behavior Speech and hearing ability to project voice to small and large audiences, carry on telephone conversations, hear and grasp verbal communications and equipment prompts Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Other Job function Health Care Provider Industries Government Administration Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation by 2x Get notified about new Medical Office Manager jobs in Inchelium, WA .
