Soliant Education is working with a supportive school district in the Portsmouth, Rhode Island area to hire a School Social Worker for the upcoming 20252026 school year. This is a great opportunity to work in a beautiful coastal community with a dedicated team.
Position Details:
Location: Portsmouth, RI
Dates: August 27, 2025 June 17, 2026
Schedule: Monday Friday | 35 hours per week (exact schedule may vary)
Caseload: Elementary
Setting: Onsite
Responsibilities Include:
Supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
Collaborating with school staff, families, and outside agencies
Implementing intervention plans and providing counseling services
Participating in IEP and student support meetings
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required
Rhode Island DOE Certification
State School Social Worker Certification
