Clarity of Central Indiana is seeking a dynamic communicator to join our Education Team as a Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist and Faith-Based Community Educator .
What You'll Be Accountable For:
? Teach and Inspire:
Present the I Decide for Me Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) curriculum with clarity, energy, and excellence in schools and community settings—equipping students with the tools to choose a lifestyle of sexual integrity.
? Faith-Based Outreach:
Deliver our Transformed curriculum in churches and youth ministries—combining medically accurate content with biblical truth in a way that's age-appropriate and culturally relevant. You'll coordinate with pastors, schedule events, and ensure each presentation makes an impact.
? Stay Sharp:
Earn and maintain certification as a Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist through Ascend. Keep current on sexual health trends, teen culture, and relevant research to be a trusted voice for students and parents alike.
? Build Relationships:
Cultivate meaningful connections with school administrators, teachers, church leaders, and youth program directors. Your strong communication and follow-up skills will help open doors and strengthen community ties.

Requirements:
Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in education, sociology or psychology
- At one year of public speaking for large and/or small groups.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to convey information effectively. Provide others with a clear understanding of information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of client, staff, volunteer, and agency information. Exceptions include information pertaining to child abuse, danger to self or others or in response to an authorized release of information
- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Computer competence and willingness to become proficient in presentation software.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to develop systems and processes.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
- Use Laptop, keyboard, mouse, 10-key calculator, projector and other office equipment with proficiency. Comprehensive knowledge of PC applications: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to pass a pre-employment PC skills test.
Essential Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Ability to maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include: sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods of time; operating office equipment; and lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Visual Acuity; ability to see and hear within normal parameters, must use hands and fingers to use keyboard and mouse; operate equipment or controls; reach above shoulder heights, below the waist; or lift to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required.
