Technical Product Manager (AI / B2B SaaS)

Location: New York, NY (On-Site)

Compensation: $180,000-$200,000 base + bonus + equity

We’re working with a venture-backed startup building AI agents that support critical workflows in a high-trust, process-heavy industry. Their technology is already in use at major professional services firms, with plans to expand deeper into audit, compliance, and financial reporting.

With strong product-market fit and engineering investment underway, they’re looking for a hands-on Technical Product Manager to help shape and scale their core platform.

About the Role

This is a zero-to-one product role, ideal for someone who enjoys building technical products in fast-moving environments. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and domain experts to design and deliver tools that drive real operational impact.

This role requires someone who’s both deeply technical and highly user-oriented—able to bridge product vision with engineering execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of AI-powered tools for specialized, complex workflows
• Define product specs and roadmap in partnership with cross-functional teams
• Translate user needs into detailed technical requirements
• Build user empathy through direct engagement and rapid feedback loops
• Prioritize initiatives and make architectural tradeoffs in collaboration with engineering

What They're Looking For

• 4–8+ years of product management experience in a technical or startup environment
• Strong technical fluency; able to contribute meaningfully to architectural discussions
• Experience bringing products from 0 to 1
• Fast learner with a first-principles mindset and strong user intuition
• Bonus: background in AI/ML, developer tools, compliance, or financial systems
